My first appreciation for Mulled Wine was while on a trip to Montreal in 2016. It was early October. The air was quite chilly. Our host made a delicious batch of Mulled Wine while we gathered in the courtyard and built a fire. It was an amazing taste. The spice with a kiss of citrus warmed me up as it flowed into my tummy. Sadly, I forgot to ask for the recipe, but since then I have tried many recipes found online. Food52’s Mulled Wine has become my favorite Fall tradition.
